That’s what Sister Margaret Clare had to say recently when asked how she felt about turning 100 today. A member of the Rochester Franciscan Congregation since 1937, she said the most remarkable thing about her age is that she’s lived this long.

But longevity is far from Sister Margaret Clare’s only achievement. Born in Fairmont, she is the third of Glenmore Rodney and Mary Margaret Style’s 12 children, of whom only she and her three sisters are still living. On top of her 74 years ...
