The last two weeks of June bring not only summer, but also fresh, farm-grown strawberries.

Weather is tough on everything, including strawberries. While there are many local options and locations, make sure to call ahead for availability and daily hours.

Jan Ulland, of Farmer John’s Pumpkin Patch & Ullands Timeless Garden, said this year’s tough mix of rain, hail and heat has made the crop smaller than previously yields.
