Fill up with new and classic fair fare

Halfway through the week of Olmsted County Free Fair, activities are in full swing and the lines, particularly for the food, are long.

With so much to chose from — this year there are 31 food vendors — here are five fair foods you can find this year, some classic favorites and others new to Olmsted County.

Get it before it pops!

Roasted sweet corn is about as classic a fair food as you can find, but the best roasted sweet corn is sold fresh and hot from the Rolling Roaster. And while the corn holds its own, you also can top it with everything from butter and salt to cajun seasoning or even hot sauce.
