Don't rush Civic Center plan, staff says

With a proposal for a new management plan looming, two Mayo Civic Center employees took advantage of the opportunity to speak to the Rochester City Council Monday.

During the council’s public-comment period, Operations Supervisor Randy Blake asked council members to consider slowing down.

“I truly feel this decision is being rushed and pushed through the council without the proper time being spent on making an informed decision,” he said.
