Christmas, like Thanksgiving, has its traditional foods for most families, but the one area it’s different is desserts.

Most of us have had our fill of pumpkin pie by now, so it’s on to other sweets like cookies and fudge, lots of both. Platters of spritz, frosted cut-outs, rosettes, krumkake and all the other ethnic and family favorites take center stage.
