Will the Chateau be ready for its premiere?

Plans to open the doors of the historic Chateau Theatre this summer remain on track.

How the downtown venue will be used, however, remains undetermined.

Mike Nigbur, Rochester’s park and forestry division head, said a seven-member review team is closing in on the last of its work after meeting with four of the groups behind the five management and operations proposals for the theater.
