Sky's the limit for riverfront property

The vision for two blocks — nearly 2.5 acres — of city-owned property fronting the Zumbro River remains wide open.

“Our riverfront can be much more than maybe all of us are envisioning today,” Rochester City Administrator Steve Rymer said Monday.

With that in mind, the Rochester City Council was offered a plan to eventually start narrowing options for the area on the west side of the river between Second Street and Fourth Street Southwest.
